   Nicely made silicon watch band…I got this for a new diver(white face) that i recently purchased. Easy to get fitted…you take the pins out of the metal buckle and then cut off “links” between the holes to get it sized to your wrist. I usually have to take out 2 “links” on both sides to get it to fit right. Buckle works well though is a little big. Like the whole strap a lot…thumbs up!

   This is a quality waterproof strap that fits tool watches.The tools to remove the tiny pins are included- a pry bar, screwdriver and extra spring pins.Also, the streamlined and sharp buckle takes a bit of effort to release so be careful not to scratch it.No instructions, so it takes a bit of intuition, accuracy, measurement and patience to fit the strap correctly.Once you do it’s pretty straight forward to fit it snugly.Measure twice, cut once.I have worn this all day and the only thing to consider is that the ridges can dig into your wrist for hours at a time. No bueno.

   Overall, the watch band is a very good fit for my submariner, and easy to install. Of course, I had to cut the band to accommodate my wrist size, because it certainly is very long otherwise. The silicone is pretty thick, and seems quite strong. I appreciate that it is manufactured with good dimensional specifications, because I have tried other aftermarket bands for my submariner, and they don’t always fit perfectly. This one on the other hand fit very nicely, and the pin holes lined up perfectly. The clasp is quite secure, and easy to undo. All in all, I’m happy with the quality, and the accuracy in manufacturing the pin holes to line up exactly. The reason I removed one star, is because I do find that the silicone is a little too rigid. I don’t have the largest wrists, but the design of the band in conjunction with its rigidity, makes it sort of pinch the sides of my wrist, which holds it nicely in place, but creates a bit of a space on the underside where my wrist meets the clasp. I wish it were a tad more malleable, to adjust itself to the circumference of my wrist. Maybe in time, and a little break in, that will adjust itself, but the out of the box feel is not perfect. Otherwise, it’s a very good replacement band, and I do like the color of gray that I chose.
